Program participants are broken up by age and meet once a week for quality visual art experiences September through May.

Ages 2 to PreKLittle Artist: Parents and children will explore the elements of art such as color, texture, pattern, shapes and more. Participants can expect fun and messy art projects that will introduce pre-K children to the basics of art while exploring age-appropriate media, a release said.

The fall session runs from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 3 to Nov. 21.

The cost is $150 per adult-child pair and $75 per additional child.

Grades K-2 — Young Artist Club: This year-long club is an introduction to formal art instruction and will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Oct. 8 to May 13. The class will not be held on Dec. 24 and 31. Young artists will learn different styles of art and learn about famous artists and their work.

Participants will also explore different mediums and styles to find the artist in themselves and what type of art really speaks to them. Club members will be able to lead art projects and help decide some of the projects attendees will do.

The cost to attend is $550 per child. Art supplies will be provided. Limited financial assistance is available.

Grades 2-12 — Youth Pottery: Attendees will explore pottery techniques using coil, slab and pinch methods, learn paint and glaze techniques, and receive an introduction to wheel throwing.

There are two date and time options, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning Oct. 2, and 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Oct. 3. Both classes will run through May 2025.

Space is limited and the cost is $600 per participant.

Grades 5-12 — Manga Art Club: Participants will explore fundamental techniques such as line work, shading, and composition. The club is designed to immerse students in the rich and dynamic world of Japanese-style comic art, focusing on developing their skills in illustration, storytelling and character design.

The curriculum emphasizes both individual creativity and community building, encouraging students to create their own manga stories while also learning to critique, appreciate and share their works with their peers, the release said.

The Manga Art Club is held from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Sept. 23 to May 12. Class will not be held on Dec. 23, Dec. 30, Jan. 20 and Feb. 17.
